Heeley City Farm is a friendly farm and environmental visitor centre in the heart of Sheffield, Heeley, South Yorkshire.

We are an award winning four acre mini rare breeds Farm, educational facility and community resource. Begun in 1981 after council plans to build a road bypass were defeated by campaigning locals, the farm started with just £20 in the bank, donated plants, a hut and a goat. We are now a multi-faceted organisation and we offer training to 100s of adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, and young people of all backgrounds from across Sheffield in everything from local food growing and animal care to heritage and energy conservation.

We're open every day from 9.00am to 5.00pm (10.00am - 4.00pm for the cafe and Garden Centre) and admission is FREE! Come and meet our friendly animals, play in our under 8's playground, enjoy fresh, home cooked meals in our Café, The Farm Kitchen or stock up on plants from our peat-free Garden Centre and there are always lots of events and activities happening.

You can also do all your recycling in our Community Recycling Centre!
